Hello, I’m Lucas P. Edwards, a business developer and land developer specialising in maritime infrastructure for carbon management. My journey began in architecture (accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects), where I tackled large infrastructure projects. This sparked my passions for economics, technology, and sales—driving me from design blueprints to decarbonising industries.

Present

Maritime infrastructure for CCS

Today, at Normod Carbon, I’m building shipping and harbour infrastructure to help CO₂ emitters transport captured emissions to permanent storage or utilisation sites. I help secure terminal rights, craft business cases, evaluate economic viability, draft engineering briefs, and align stakeholders. This work tackles the economic, technical, and commercial hurdles of decarbonising heavy industry, while forging partnerships and expanding into new markets.

My multidisciplinary skills in business development for leading companies, tech innovation, land development, and architecture stem from past startups and roles in product development. They’ve prepared me to plan massive projects that blend sustainability with scalability.

Past

My career has evolved to embrace my growing passion for economics and corporate finance, focusing on uncovering actionable insights, leveraging new tools and technologies and supporting informed decision-making.

Innovation Lead

(2023-2025): At a Danish property technology NGO from, I created tailored courses, workshops and training for leaders and C-level executives in proptech, finance, operations, and leadership. Engaging developers, banks, investors, and tech providers, I cut member churn, streamlined operations, and reduced contact intervals from 3 years to 3 months — while introducing new business tools. I functioned as a presenter, both for the NGO and on behalf of the Foreign Ministry of Denmark.

Product & software

2020: As a cofounder at Kinbo, I made a digital marketplace for sustainable new construction homes in Denmark. Together with my brother, Oliver T. Edwards, we launched the first prototype in less than two months before building the full version. Since then, Kinbo has provided marketing services to real estate developers and pension funds.

Architecture & land development

I have a technical background, working with land development for real estate and large infrastructure projects. Since then, I’ve consulted for real estate developers, offering services and coaching in regards to business development and investor relations.
